Corners of Our Home

Monday, 1 June 2020 Bath, UK

As of June 1st we have lived in our house for a year. And what a year it’s been! We moved in whilst I was heavily pregnant, did as much decorating as we were allowed to do (we are renting) and then just under 2 months later we brought our baby girl home to this house.

I’ve got to admit, there are things about this house that I find difficult. Let's just say the person who lived here before us loved the primary colours! We have a very red carpet in the hallway, a dark red one in the living room and a bright blue one in the dining room with a textured wallpaper throughout to match. When one of your passions is interior design and talking about it on instagram, it doesn’t make for an easy job. BUT - I’ve also got to say that I have grown to adore this house. Its quirky old doors, its great layout, its location... it's an amazing space. I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am that we get to live here.

To commemorate it being a whole year of us moving in I wanted to dedicate a post to my favourite little corners (primary colours aside) and so when I look back one day when we have our very own home I can remember how special this little home is, quirks and all.
